Banaras Sarees

Banaras Sarees are an inevitable part of any Indian bride's trousseau. The expert weavers change the style of this unique sarees to suit different regional markets and changing Fashion. The characteristic embroidery of these sarees is influenced by Mughal designs such as intricate intertwining floral and foliate motifs, kalga and bel. A string of upright leaves called jhallr at the outer, edge of border is a characteristic of these sarees. Not only this Benaras sarees are widely known for its heavy gold Silverbrocades. The other range of Banarasi sarees are Jamvar, Navrangi (nine colors), and Jamdani etc.
